Course content
1. The monumental concept of archaeology 2. Cultural-historical paradigm and monuments 3. Procedural paradigm and monuments 4. Post-processual paradigm and monuments 5. Development of theoretical thinking in archaeology in contact with "heritage" and "memory studies" 6. The importance of public and community archaeology for the protection of archaeological heritage 7. Theoretical approaches in museology 8. Theoretical approaches to the protection and reconstruction/preservation of the historic built environment (up to the end of the 19th century) 9. Theoretical approaches to the protection and reconstruction/preservation of the historic built environment (up to the mid-20th century) 10. Theoretical approaches to the protection and reconstruction/preservation of the historic built environment (up to the present) 11. War conflicts and post-war reconstruction of monuments 12. Current trends in the theory of the material component of the historical heritage
