Course content
Weeks 1 - 13 1. Introductory lesson - studio technology. 2. Basics of lighting. 3. - 4. Work with photographic material. 5. - 7. Theme: Standard and non-standard methods of presentation/installation of works of art. 8. - 10. Theme: Photo book. 11. - 12. Theme: Spatial resolution photographic installations - photograph as an object. 13. Final lesson - evaluation. The aim of the course is to emancipate from the contemporary understanding of photography as a sum of data and to utilize its artistic potential. Another goal is to improve a contact with the viewer by means of a proper presentation.

Knowledge
knowledge of photographic techniques and technology used in digital photography photography, understanding the concepts: photographic device and its settings (aperture, time, exposure), photographic lens - types, parameters, knowledge of the basic principles of illumination, understanding the role of color, line and structure in photography knowledge of photographic genres and their most prominent representatives
Skills
to work with analog photographic technology and to use the basic functions that it enables in creating, to apply the principle of construction, composition and composition of the photographic image, to work with different kinds of light, to distinguish and compare the possibilities of working with light in photography

Knowledge
describe how to work with a digital photo camera, explain the specifics of work in the photo studio, to describe the basics of exponometry and methods of exposure measurement, to list the types and differences of the lenses, to describe the work with different kinds of light
Skills
to correctly illuminate an object for a given photo intent and a genre (portrait, figure, still life, abstraction, detail); determine which type of light situation is appropriate and usable for implementation, to creatively work with the subject, composition and composition of the photographic image, to correctly set up and use a digital photo camera to work in the photo studio, to assemble the flashing devices individually so that the object (model) illuminates with the appropriate intensity and from the correct angles; to use a flash meter to measure light intensity, to recognize and solve problems in lighting the object (model), to adapt the type and intensity of light to the photographic intention and genre (to solve technical and compositional problems), to apply the basic types of photographic illumination according to their specific purpose - to realize a full-fledged work, both technically and artistically
