Course content
|
Lectures and seminars: 1.-2. Harvest of histological material. Fixation, potting and cutting of tissues. 3.-5. Basic dying (hematoxylin-eozin, alcian blue, van Gieson, trichrome). 6.-7. Basic dying (Giemsa, dying at reticulin, elsatin, collagen). 8.-9. Special dying (MetylViolet and Congo red at amyloids, neurohistology). 10. Immunohistochemistry (vimentin, cytokeratin). 11. Evidence of inorganic substances. 12.-13. Epithelium specimens - various morphological types.
