Lectures 1. Contrast agents positive and negative used in radiodiagnostics, characteristics of individual groups. 2. Adverse toxic and allergic reactions after administration of contrast agent, prevention of side effects, treatment principles. 3. Contrast invasive examination. 4. Contrast noninvasive examination. 5. Physics of radioactivity. Radionuclides, most commonly used, their properties, examples of use. 6. Preparation of radionuclides in the reactor, cyclotron, theory. Description of the reactor, cyclotron, other accelerators. 7. Radiopharmaceuticals, species, their acquisition, generators. Methods of preparation of radioactive compounds. Kits for preparation radiopharmaceuticals, description of workplace preparation. Production, testing requirements. SPECT radiopharmaceuticals for individual examination. 8. PET radiopharmaceuticals, theory. Production, testing. The resulting image when using cameras. The most common PET pharmaceuticals and areas where they are used.
