1.The field of public medical care, its contemporary concept and significance 2.-3. Health and illness, determinants of health 4.-5. Prevention in health care, regular monitoring of patients endangered or suffering from certain types of chronic diseases. 6.-7.. Types of health care 8.-9. Legislation concerning medical care 10.-11. Health policy ? programmes of WHO, regional health policy 12. System and funding of medical and social care 13. Czech social security system 14. Organizations providing health care in the CR and in the world 15. National medical information systems, ICD, registers 16. Methods of studying the population?s health 17. Education in medical care The tutorials follow the lectures ? they are based on practical application of the acquired knowledge.
