|
Lectures 1. The field of public health - its current concept and meaning, subject, overview of historical development in the field. 2. Health and disease as a biopsychosocial category - determinants of health, the most common causes of diseases, international classification of diseases. 3. Prevention in health care - dispensary, primary, secondary, tertiary prevention. 4. Types of healthcare - healthcare systems and their structure. 5. Healthcare legislation - basic legal regulations in the field of health care, Act on the General Health Insurance Company of the Czech Republic, Act on healthcare in non-state healthcare facilities, Act on medical emergency services. 6. Health policy, WHO programs, regional health policy. 7. The system and methods of financing health and social care - health systems and economy, history of health economics. 8. Social security system in the Czech Republic - social insurance, state social support, social assistance, social care. 9. Organizations dealing with health care in the Czech Republic and in the world - the World Health Declaration and the Health for the 21st Century policy. 10. National health information system, ICN, registries. 11. Methods of studying the health status of the population - the importance of measuring the health status of the population, methods of searching for health disorders in the population. 12. Education in healthcare. Eligibility to perform the medical profession.
