|
Lectures 1. Field of Public Health - its current concept and importance, subject, overview of historical development in the field. 2. Health and disease as biopsychosocial category - determinants of health, the most common causes of diseases, international classification of diseases. 3. Prevention in health care - dispensarization, primary, secondary, tertiary prevention. Types of Healthcare - health systems and their structure. 4. Health legislation - basic health care legislation, General Health Insurance Act Czech Republic, Act on Health Care in Non-State Health Facilities, Act on Emergency Medical Service. 5. Health policy, WHO programs, regional health policy. 6. System and ways of financing health and social care - health systems and economics, history of economy health service. 7. Social security system in the Czech Republic - social insurance, state social support, social assistance, social care. 8. Health Care Organizations in the Czech Republic and in the World - World Health Declaration a National Health 2020 Program. 9. National health information system, ICD, registers. Methods of study of health status of population - importance measuring the health of the population, ways of finding health disorders in the population. 10. Health and its determinants. Health promotion and prevention. Screening. Health education as a task for society. 11. Health education - goals, principles, forms, methods, effectiveness control. Community Projects to Promote Health - Healthy school, healthy city, healthy business, healthy family. 12. Risk factors affecting health. A healthy way of life. Risk groups and possibilities to influence their life style - health education for adolescents, drug addicts. 13. Problems of smoking and drug addiction. The role of non-physician in health education in primary care, hospital care (secondary care), tertiary care (rehabilitation). 14. Possibilities of influencing society in the field of healthy lifestyle, regional area. 15. The importance of socio-economic and behavioral factors for a healthy way of life.
