Course content
|
Within this course, the student first specifies the content of the thesis during consultation session, or rather during seminar sessions, then he/she chooses adequate methods and relevant procedure of the topic processing. The student consults partial outcomes with his/her adviser [supervisor] and presents parts of his/her Bachelor's thesis to him/her. The time schedule of the subject and particular requirements will be provided by the Department, or more precisely, by the student's adviser [supervisor] at the beginning of the semester.

The course is offered only to the students of the study fields Middle Eastern Studies. Academic writing skills, a good knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methods and basic knowledge of thesis lay-out style are assumed. In case of insufficient background knowledge, the supervisor will suggest reading material to make up for it. For taking the defence, it is necessary to obtain at least one recommending review. |
