Course content
Demonstration of attractive and interesting experiments from different areas of chemistry: - color world (color changes in solutions) - PH - acid and basic solutions - what can gas do (properties and preparation of inert gases) - oscillating reactions - experiments accompanied by the sound and light effects Rebus, puzzles and quizzes with chemical subject. Connection and interconnection of chemistry with daily life. Possibility to try on some simple and safe chemistry experiments.

  • Contact hours - 13 hours per semester
  • Presentation preparation (report) (1-10) - 10 hours per semester

The basic knowledge of high school chemistry.
learning outcomes
Students are able to clarify the nature of selected chemical processes thanks to observation of demonstration experiments. Students are able to perform (independently) the simple chemical experiments. Students are able to solve simple rebus, puzzles and quizzes with chemical subject.
