1. Introduction to the course - presentation of the objectives (why it is important to develop innovative thinking, generate new ideas, find new creative ways to solve problems and work in a team) 2. Principles of interdisciplinary collaboration - sharing "best practice" from successful faculty projects, including projects with foreign universities and other partners 3. Team building and simulating team roles - team members need to understand their roles as well as those of their colleagues, and in interactions they need to be able to assess how to solve problems, what form to share information, when to actively contribute and when it is better to leave the initiative to others 4. A brief explanation of the Design Thinking and Human Centered Design methodologies - their benefits, usefulness and practical applications for developing creative thinking and problem solving in the context of teamwork 5. Team activities aimed at enhancing observation - impressions - biases - insights as an accelerator of new ideas in the team 6. Activities to open up themes in the team and foster vision - intuition - imagination - creative thinking 7. Risks of team collaboration - how to prevent them, how to solve a team crisis 8. Defining a model problem in the team and agreeing on a solution - looking at it from different perspectives and being aware of the complexity 9. Prototyping the team solution - experimental validation of possible solutions 10. Presentation of teamwork - reflection and feedback 11. Summary of objectives, evaluation, dissemination
