Course content

1. Opening lesson - conditions of semester project. 2. - 3. Uppers for footwear. 4. - 5. Uppers for model footwear. 6. Types of lasts. 7. - 8. Sizes of lasts. 9. Editing of lasts. 10. - 12. Modelling of lasts. 13. Conclusion and discussion of term papers. The course is focused on cut structure of uppers for footwear and model footwear. The study includes the construction and shaping of the shoe lasts and other forms of modeling space, using forms without it. It deepens students' design skills and technology to solve the various cuts of shoes with regard to design, function and healthy footwear. Students will learn about different types and sizes of lasts and their treatment options.
