Course content
|
Students of master's program can enroll in this course as in so-called second studio. Weeks 1 - 13 - Dining set - sets of trays, bowls, solution to the composition of central composite set in material. - Atypical dining set - concepts such as friendly set for 2-4 persons, pots, cups, bowls, ashtray, vase, textiles, glass, in the material. - Introduction to the content and scope of work in the semester - assigning the main semestral project. Preparatory drawings. - Continuous production, corrections and consultation about the given project and all seminar tasks. - Based on drawing sketches, selection and verification of solutions in clay. - Implementation of a plaster model (blank form, casting the model, retouching). - Main form, casting, retouching, glazing, firing. - "Structure" - a relief print, enlarging. - Designing color patterns. - Graphic print. - Final focus on decor. - Photo documentation, presentation.
