Course content

Lectures: 1. Daily lighting of buildings, basic parameters 2. Causes of calculation of daily lighting factor D 3. Compound lighting, its using and parameters 4. Illumination of outdoor areas, using light sources, light fittings, illuminating systems 5. illumination of streets, basic illuminating systems 6. Dot calculation of illuminance and radiant luminance of street surface 7. Rules of illumination of tunnels, using illuminating systems 8. Conditions of radiant luminance in tunnels, methods of illuminance and radiant luminance calculations 9. Art illumination of buildings, its rules 10. Headlamp systems, dot calculation of illuminance 11. Colorimetry, 12. Tristimulus systems of colours, natural chromacity coordinates 13. Feeding, rules of running and maintenance of outdoor illuminating systems Exercises: Safety instructions, measurement of vapour lamps, measurement of lighting factor D, colour character of lighting, design of illuminating systems, credit test. The industrial experts take part on the lecture in the course.
