Lectures: 1. Diagnostics - historical development of branch, technical diagnostics, diagnostics of digital systems, diagnostics and economy, basic terminology, diagnostic tests 2. Causes and mechanisms of digital system faults, models of faults for diagnostics 3. Methods of diagnostic test generation, functional and structure tests, testing of combinational circuits 4. Testing of sequential circuits, functional tests - identification metods and RTL methods, structure metods - conversion of sequential circuit to combinational one 5. Tables of complete tests, test minimalization, localization of faults, compression of diagnostic data 6. Stochastic and pseudo-stochastic tests, pseudo-trivial tests 7. Methods of system design aimed at easy diagnostics - heuristic methods, structured design 8. Diagnostic testers, logical analyzers 9. Introduction to dependability theory, historical branch development, main targets of dependability, basic terms and definitions, dependability parameters 10. Dependability tests of elektronics, types of dependability tests 11. Calculation of dependability parameters, calculation techniques, dependability models, dependability of systems with general structure 12.
