1) Basic principles of project management, system design, and systems engineering 2) Electronics development in automotive - electronics in passenger cars, automotive development processes, tools, standards, group standards (introduction to the subject) 3) Electronics development in automotive - testing (HW validation, SW validation, integration tests, design validation) 4) Electronics development in automotive - sample project 5) Systems engineering: system complexity and decomposition, systems approach 6) Product Lifecycle Management - PLM, lifecycle processes, V-model 7) Differences and similarities between systems engineering and project management 8) Introduction to model-based systems engineering, SysML, stakeholder expectation analysis 9) Requirements definition, requirements diagram, requirements analysis 10) Behavior diagrams in systems engineering 11) Structure diagrams in systems engineering 12) Technical requirements definition, concept creation, and selection, detailed specification, design definition 13) Prototyping, system interface management, verification and validation, field deployment
