Course content
|
1) Metrology of sensors (static errors, dynamic properties) 2) Sensor output standards, sensor output conditioning circuit. Intelligent sensors - structure, standard interfaces, industrial busses. 3) Measurement of electrical current (AC, DC current measurement, shunt, Hall sensor, Rogovski coil, contact-less measurement, measuring transformer). 4) Measurement of electrical voltage (AC, DC voltage measurement, measuring transformer, voltage divider, signal amplification, probes). 5) Measurement of electrical power (DC, AC, non-harmonic power measurement). 6) Temperature measurement (contact and non-contact methods), sensors of temperature 7) Flow measurement (mass flowmeters, volume flowmeters, velocity flowmetrs), level measurement 8) Position, distance, rotation angle sensors (IRC, ARC, inclinometers, speed-voltage generators) 9) Force, pressure and torque sensing and measurement (piezoresistive sensors, piezoelectric sensors) 10) Optical fiber sensors, chemical sensors, moisture measurement, viscosity measurement. 11) Specific application sensors (ionizing radiation, environmental parameters sensors, security systems sensors). 12) Noise measurement (basic acoustic quantities, measuring equipment). 13) Vibration measurement (vibration parameters, principle of accelerometer, charge and voltage amplifier).
