Course content
|
1. Sensors (vehicle sensors, traffic monitoring sensors) 2. V2X communication (vehicle-to-vehicle, vehicle-to-infrastructure, ETSI standards) 3. Collaborative ITS (C-ITS) 4. HD maps for vehicle positioning 5. Data pre-processing: cleaning, outlier removal, missing value processing 6. Standard data processing methods (regression, classification) 7. ITS applications in an urban context 8. ITS for public transport 9. ITS for urban traffic management 10. ITS on motorways (variable message signs, lane closures, ramp metering, accident detection) 11. ITS applications on railways 12. Cybersecurity of ITS systems 13. The future of ITS (new trends and technologies in ITS such as connected and autonomous vehicles, electromobility and smart cities and their potential impact on the transport industry).
