Course content
|
1.-2. Analyze of electric circuit with power semiconductor devices (analytic solve, graphic and numeric including examples of algorithms for PC, Euler method). 3-5. Choppers (buck, boost, multi-quadrant topology, DC) - control methods, current ripple, calculation examples. 6-8. Inverters (VSI single and three phase) - control methods, modulation, calculation examples. Practical application - using in electric drives, frequency converters (mainly indirect frequency converters with DC bus line). 9-11. Rectifiers (single and three phase rectifier, full wave and half-wave topology, symmetrical and non-symmetrical variants) - control methods, current ripple, calculation examples. 12. Simulation examples of selected converters on PC.
