Knowledge |
---|
will explain the etiopathogenesis of myofascial triggerpoints |
defines the factors that contribute to their occurrence and clarifies the mechanisms of pain and muscle dysfunction in their presence |
will explain the way muscles use elastic force during rapid movements |
defines the role of proteins (tinin, nebulin) in elasticity and regulation of muscle contraction |
will clarify the cognitive aspects of movement |
describes the Gordon curve |
will explain how pathological changes in tendons and their connections to bones affect movement |
Skills |
---|
differentiates the concepts of regeneration and repair in the context of muscle damage |
recognizes and diagnoses myofascial triggerpoints |
master techniques for releasing trigger points |
analyzes and interprets skeletal muscle function including the stretch-shortening cycle and changes in muscle tissue due to inactivity and aging |
