Lectures 1. General indications and contraindications of therapeutic rehabilitation in internal medicine. 2. Arguments for the rational choice of a rehabilitation strategy in internal medicine in connection with taking a movement history. 3. Overview of the biological effect of regular physical activity. 4. Pathophysiology of physical stress - selected manifestations of adaptation of individual systems to regular exercise or different types of training; some systemic manifestations of insufficient physical activity. 5. Pathophysiology of physical exertion - functional changes associated with maladaptation during forced interruption of exercise or training. 6. ECG - examination principle, leads, recording conditions, ECG curve and its evaluation. 7. Spirometry - indication, spirogram, flow/volume curve, Tiffeneau index. 8. Spiroergometry - basic investigated values, principle of practical implementation. 9. Basic principles of prescribing a program of physical activity or sports training. 10. Long-term adherence to the physical activity program. 11. Physical activity and sport as means of prevention and therapy. Exercises 1. Examination of the cardiovascular system - medical history. Circulatory and functional examination of the patient by a physiotherapist. 2. Examination of the cardiovascular system - physical examination - aspect, palpation; auscultation, blood pressure examination (principle). 3. Functional tests of the cardiovascular system, differential diagnosis. 4. Ergometry: principle, examination methods, indications, basic examined values. 5. Examination of the KV system - simple stress tests. 6. Spirometry - measurement conditions, basic parameters, practical implementation. 7. Spiroergometry - test VO2 max, VO2 max/kg, VO2 max/TF, MET (metabolic equivalent) - interpretation of results. 8. Prescription of the physical activity program - determination of heart rate and load intensity. 9. - 10. The most common cyclic endurance physical activities and their use. 11. Credit test
