Course content
Lectures 1. Brachial plexus - structure. Upper and lower type of paralysis. Lesions of nerves originating from the brachial, lumbar, sacral plexus. Narrowing syndromes in the lumbar and sacral plexus. 2. Vertebromedullary topography. Transverse spinal cord lesions. Brown-Sequard syndrome 3. Kinesiology of the axial skeleton - in general, requirements for the spine, spinal curves. Kinesiology and pathokinesiology of the spinal segment - spinal segment and its components, spodylolisthesis, spondylolysis, spondylosis 4. Kinesiology and pathokinesiology of the axial skeleton - intervertebral disc (structure, forces - physiological and pathological), disc lesions - mechanism and principle). 5. Pathokinesiology of the axial skeleton - root syndromes - cervical (C2-C8), lumbar (L1-L5), sacral (S1-S5) 6. Kinesiology of the pelvis and sacroiliac joint 7. Pathokinesiology of the axial skeleton - scoliosis, division, terminology. Pathokinesiology of the axial skeleton - scoliosis, etiopathogenesis 8. Kinesiology and pathokinesiology of the hip joint. Kinesiology and pathokinesiology of the knee joint. 9. Kinesiology and pathokinesiology of the foot. Longitudinal and transverse arch of the foot. Kinesiology and pathokinesiology of the DKK stump. Kinesiology and pathokinesiology of the HKK stump 10. Congenital developmental defects of the lower extremities, malpositional defects. Kinesiology and pathokinesiology of standing. Concepts of correct posture. LOS 11. Kinesiology and pathokinesiology of walking. Kinesiology and pathokinesiology of standing and walking in diabetic foot - Charcot osteoarthropathy
