Course content
1. Etiopathogenesis and epidemiology of cancer diseases 2. Risk factors, screening and prevention of cancer diseases 3. Pathology, classification and staging of tumor diseases, hereditary tumor syndromes 4. Current possibilities of diagnosis of cancer diseases, imaging methods, evaluation of treatment response 5. Pharmacological treatment of cancer and its side effects 6. Special oncology: the most common solid tumors 1 7. Special oncology: most common solid tumors 2 8. Hematological malignancies, hematopoietic tissue transplantation 9. Informing patients about a malignant diagnosis, basics of psycho-oncology 10. Psychology of cancer patients, relatives and nursing staff 11. The influence of nutrition on the development of tumors, and nutritional problems in oncological patients 12. Basics of applied physiotherapy for cancer patients 13. Patient organizations, preventive programs, kinesiotherapy for cancer patients 14. Basics of palliative care in oncology, pain treatment 15. Integrative medicine in oncology, alternative approaches
