Course content
|
1. Overview and principles of force and pressure plates. 2. Overview of applications using force and pressure plates. 3. Practical demonstration of the use of force plates for the examination of postural stability. 4. Demonstration of the application of force measurement in obstetrics. 5. Overview and principles of other non-invasive measurement technologies (EMG, gyroscope, accelerometer,...). 6. Overview of applications using non-invasive measurement technologies (EMG, gyroscope, accelerometer,...). 7. Practical demonstration of wireless EMG measurement. 8. Overview and principles of optical methods of recording movement or deformation (MOCAP, DIC, US, markerless). 9. MOCAP and demonstration of practical application. Skeletal muscle models. 10. Overview and principles of imaging techniques (RTG, MRI, CT, US). 11. EOS system and skeletal system reconstruction. A sample of a practical application.
