Course content
Selected authentic texts and topics relate to the following areas of modern social life in German speaking countries: - differences between Czech and German culture - home, Europe, world - human society and present problems - globalized world and its problems

Learning activities and teaching methods
  • Preparation for an examination (30-60) - 39 hours per semester
  • Contact hours - 26 hours per semester
  • Preparation for comprehensive test (10-40) - 13 hours per semester

to cope with the phenomenon of the German language system at level B2
Skills
to understand the main ideas of more demanding texts on concrete and abstract themes in German
to discusse in German on well-known topics related to the field of study and general knowledge of German-speaking countries
to conduct a fluent and active conversation in German with a native speaker
to produce oral or written expression of comprehensible texts on a wide range of topics in the German language
to explain in German the opinion on the current problem, indicating the advantages and disadvantages of different options
