Course content
analysis of texts from the field of business, HR management and finance from the morphological, syntactic, lexical and stylistical viewpoint content summarization, presentation of main ideas cohesion and coherence translation skills applied to commercial text

Learning activities and teaching methods
  • Contact hours - 26 hours per semester
  • Preparation for formative assessments (2-20) - 10 hours per semester
  • Preparation for comprehensive test (10-40) - 16 hours per semester

be well-informed about morphological and syntactic specifics of English language

understand the main characteristics of specialist texts from the commercial field
be well-informed about fundamental specialist literature from the field of English linguistics

translate selected parts of English texts into Czech language
