Course content
This course deals with the verb and individual verb categories. Einführung in die Morphologie. Einteilung der Wörter. Morphologische Unterscheidung der Verben. Finite Verbformen: regelmäßige und unregelmäßige Verben. Mischtypen und ihre Bedeutungen. Infinite Verbformen, Bildung, Gebrauch. Syntaktische Unterscheidung der Verben. Vollverben und Hilfsverben. Modalverben, reflexive, reziproke Verben. Semantische Unterscheidung der Verben: Aktionsart, Transitivität, Funktionsverben. Tempus - Bildung und Gebrauch der Tempora. Modus - Indikativ, Imperativ - Bildung und Gebrauch. Konjunktiv - Bildung und Gebrauch. Genus Verbi - Charakteristik, Bildung, Gebrauch: Aktiv, Passiv, Konkurrenzformen.

to orientate themselves in the German language system (especially in morphology) at B1 level
to enumerate and specify verbal categories in both Czech and German
to describe basic differences in morphology of verbs in Czech and German (especially in ways, times, verbs)
to orientate in Czech and German terminology from the field of morphology with an emphasis on morphology of verbs
to orientate in the basic linguistic guides from the field of morphology
Skills
to communicate in German at B1 level
to communicate in Czech best native speaker / Intermediate foreign user (B2 and higher)
to identify on examples the matches and differences in verb morphology between Czech and German
to produce correct verbal forms in German based on the assignment
to confront the production of their own manifestations in terms of morphology with basic lexicographical and other linguistic guides
