Course content |
To translate technical German text concerning the topic of student´s thesis. To read, understand and reproduce German technical text. To catch main idea of German text (in Czech). To talk about student´s thesis, discuss about their specialization.

Students will acquire foreign-language skills lead to make: -resume in Czech of a 50-page perused technical text on the basis of German original text, not only of text, which has been translated to German (3 pages) -translation of 10-page hitherto not translated German technical text to Czech language -vocabulary of 150 lexical units with terminological aspect from translated text Students will also acquire communication skills: -students will fluently speak in German about their thesis and respond questions concerning chosen topic -students will read loudly and translate an original German text without using a dictionary Students will recognize grammatical phenomenon appearing in translated text. |
