Course content
The course is there to be signed up by the students who want to finish their studies in the particular year and in the study field the Foreign Languages for Business Purposes. The exam is oral and takes place in front of a committee. It usually takes about 15-30 minutes. The process and requirements are stated in the Study and Exam Regulations of the West Bohemian University in Pilsen. Particular areas of the Bachelor's exam are announced every year by department concerned. When preparing for the exam, students are welcome to consult with guarantees of particular areas individually or in groups.

Completion of all "prerequisites" in accordance with the study plan of the study programme guaranteed by the Department of Germanistic and Slavistic and in full compliance with the Study and Examinations Regulations at the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen.

Knowledge
Successful passing of Bachelor's exam proves that the student has acquired the knowledge, competencies and skills sufficiently and in line with the requirements of particular study programme and field. Students will be able to: - apply theoretical knowledge practically, - translate written materials from Russian into Czech and vice versa on the level of general as well as general scientific language, - work with bilingual as well as monolingual dictionaries, grammar handbooks, etc., - translate accurately from one language into the other, - translate professional treatises, articles, presentations, short lectures, etc. from Russian into Czech and vice versa.
