Course content
Development of British literature from the beginning of the 20th century to the present. Origin of the realist novel and short story Modernism in British and American literature Development tendencies of British prose of the second half of the 20th century Development tendencies of British drama of the second half of the 20th century Development tendencies of British poetry of the second half of the 20th century Postcolonial literature Literary and cultural development in the USA in the 20th century Genre, cultural and ethnic diversity of American literature Development lines and concepts of modern American poetry Multiplicity of opinions and ideas about the individual and society in American prose in the second half of the 20th century Multiplicity of opinions about the individual and society in American drama in the second half of the 20th century Literature of minorities

Learning activities and teaching methods
