Course content
1. Geography of German federal states: 1.1. Bavaria (Bayern). 1.2. Baden-Württemberg, 1.3. Hesse (Hessen). 1.4. Saarland. 1.5. Rhineland-Palatinate (Rheinland-Pfalz). 1.6. Lower Saxony (Niedersachsen). 1.7. Schleswig-Holstein. 1.8. North Rhine-Westphalia (Nordrhein - Westfalen). 2. Geography of other German-speaking Countries 3. Economics, Education, Science and research in these states. 3. Language realia of the society and culture of German-speaking Countries.

Learning activities and teaching methods
  • Contact hours - 26 hours per semester
  • Undergraduate study programme term essay (20-40) - 40 hours per semester
  • Presentation preparation (report in a foreign language) (10-15) - 13 hours per semester
