Course content
Continuous authentic interpretation (esp. audiovisual) texts on the theme of Bavarian, Czech-Bavarian (Czech-German), interregional, cross-border realities. Communication situation and interpretation. Translator and the process of interpreting the interregion Competence of translators in interregional cooperation Specifics of Czech-Bavarian border area for the work of the interpreter Interpreting and bilingual education Effects of Bavarian dialects in the speeches of official communication and ways of coping with them in interpreting practice

Knowledge
Knowledge of the German language at least at the level C1 (CEFR), basic knowledge of processes and methods of translatology.

Students are able to - Choose the appropriate procedures and interpreting the correct language resources in compliance with lexicological, morphological, syntactic and stylistic qualities - Analyze the specifics of the spoken language of the southern German region and propose ways to resolve problems of interpretation that can cause these specifics - Handle their own glossaries, commentaries on texts - Carry out content and language researchs - Create appropriate formal notation and resume to interpreting texts
