Course content
Basic information about location of the Czech Republic and its status in the World and the EU. Natural characteristics of the Czech Republic. Administrative structure of the Czech Republic. Population of the Czech Republic, changes in population; settlements. Overall characterization of Czech economy. Primary economic sector (agriculture, forestry). Secondary economic sector (mining, industry, energy). Terciary economic sector (transportation, tourism). Regions of the Czech Republic and their competitiveness.
