Economic geography (key concepts, history of the discipline) Key factors of the economic geography (state, firm, labor force, financial flows and environmental economy) World Economy and models of economic development (dynamics, uneven development, core vs. periphery, economic indicators) Globalization and economic development (international division of labor, new technologies and innovations, global market, production chains) Agriculture in the contemporary world (geography of agriculture, development of agriculture production) Natural and social factors in agriculture (patterns of the world agriculture production, Von Thunen model) Innovations in agriculture (agricultural revolutions, industrialization, Green revolution, biotechnology, genetically modified organisms) Suistainable agriculture (food supply, famines, environmental aspects) Agriculture policy of the EU and the Czech rep. (European funds and state subsidiaries) Selected databases and datasets for geography of agriculture (FAO, LPIS, eAGRI) Forestry, fishery and water management (forest and ocean exploitation, sustainable development)
