Course content
Geography of Transport (performance field, focus, approach, position and importance of transport in the national economy, the basic terms and concepts). The development of transport systems (milestones in the development of transport, intermodal revolution, global transport systems). Patterns of spatial distribution of transport networks (characteristics of transport networks and their spatial distribution and development). Transport modes and their position in the contemporary world (road, rail, air, sea, river and pipeline). Environmental aspects of transport (impact of transport on the environment, the division of the country risk). Geography of services (performance art and basic theoretical frameworks, theory of the three sectors, classification of services, the role of services in the global economy). Geography Trade (world trade, development and localization of retail shopping centers as a social phenomenon). Geography of Tourism (basic concepts, implementation factors and assumptions, the position and importance of tourism). Forms and types of tourism (forms and types of tourism, the dynamics of their development, alternative forms). World tourism (the position of tourism in the economies of individual countries, tourism, positive and negative effects).
