Course content
Regions - concepts, typology, structure, regional taxonomy. Approaches to regions in major economic theories. Classification of theories of regional development. Regional dimensions in theories of regional development - neomarxist and neoliberal approaches. Institutional directions of regional development - competitiveness of regions, theory of learning regions, regional innovation systems.
