Course content
1. - 2. Teaching history at secondary schools abroad, European dimension in secondary school history; Examples of selected curriculum documents from abroad 3. Historical myths and stereotypes and possibilities of history teaching, media and history, the formative role of history 4. Oral history and school history, microhistory and history of everyday life in history teaching; Project education at high school - possibilities and pitfalls 5. Cross-curricular relations in history teaching, application to concrete curriculum 6. Ideological formative role of history. Controversial historical themes and school history. 7. Selected web portals usable for teaching secondary school history 8. Analysis of selected SEPs - key competencies - examples of effective applications in history, comparison of Secondary vocational schools and grammar schools 9. Analysis of selected SEPs - cross-curricular themes - examples of effective applications in history, comparison of Secondary vocational schools and grammar schools 10. Current trends in history teaching, literature, personalities, tips, examples of good practice, secondary school historical competitions 11. - 12. Practice and its analysis

to prove the knowledge of didactic terminology, valid curriculum documents in relation to history, basic teaching media of history
Skills
to analyze and select the subject, prepare theoretically and practically to rationalize the teaching unit, manage the basic exposure, fixation and diagnostic methods, it is able to self-reflection in pedagogical practice
