| The basic orientation in English and Early Modern European history is fundamental. |

| The student can explain selected problems of Modern European History, place them in the context of social, political, economic and cultural connections. Student is able to explain in detail the studied events. Student is eligible to establish the basic trends in Modern History, as well as he/she can generalize and apply gained knowledge and can be familiar with both Czech and foreign essential literature of Modern Europe. |
