Course content
|
Preparation for the cultivated vocal expression of the future Hv teacher and for the stylish performance of compositions of different stylistic periods. Further development of singing skills on more demanding combined voice exercises with jumps, octaves, decompositions, scales. Study of folk songs and compositions of different stylistic periods according to the list of compositions intended for the state final examinations. Preparation of accompaniments to various types and genres of popular songs. Improvisation of simple stylized accompaniments to artificial songs according to chord markings. Playing cadences in the basic major and minor keys. Harmonisation of Czech folk songs. Reflection on the listening practice, discussion on the application of the acquired skills in practice. Theoretical knowledge of music theory, harmony and musical forms. Knowledge of chord markings and basic piano stylization of accompaniments. Basic knowledge of the functioning of the human voice as well as the child's voice. |

Mastery of pianistic habits - correct formation of the piano stroke and individual technical elements, combination of musical notation with quick orientation on the keyboard. Mastery of breath support, correct phrasing and the use of mixed resonance in most of the vocal range, balanced vocals at least in the middle position, crescendo, decrescendo, messa di voce, some elements of ornamentation (short and long stroke, envelope, group). |

The student has mastered voice work and has consolidated the basic skills of singing technique: breath support, crescendo and decrescendo, phrasing, mixed resonance throughout the range, balanced vocals in all positions, clear articulation, elements of ornamentation. Can interpret and stylistically distinguish simpler compositions of different stylistic periods. Is able to sing single voices in multiple voices Ability to select appropriate accompaniments to popular songs and to perform them actively at a level appropriate to the ability of a primary or secondary school teacher. |
