Course content
Intonation and rhythm training in a choir. Types of choirs. Essential conductor techniques ? the timing scheme of the most common rhythms, preparatory and closing gestures. More complicated timing schemes, continuous conclusions. Gestures? division, gestures? combination, upbeat, fermata, beating of overvalues and undervalues. Pace and its changes. Dynamics and its changes. Practical presentation of various folk songs and simpler artistic songs.
