learning outcomes
The students will gain the knowledge of the timeline of the main events in the British history of the 20th century. They will also analyze the most important events in this period (death of Queen Victoria, Peoples? Budget of David Lloyd George, WWI, the effort to create the system of the collective security, the phenomenon of Appeasement, the Abdication Crisis or the changes of the British attitude towards the European Integration). The lecture will be also concentrated on the most important personalities of this age.
