Congress of the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia (KSČ) in 1971, end of the first phase of normalisation, regime consolidation, purges in KSČ 5.-6. Society in the period of normalisation - the strategy of material pacification 7. Economic situation in the 1970s 8. Opposition against regime, its structure (church, underground, Charta 77) 9. The turn of the 1970s and 1980s 10.-11. The crisis phenomena, deteriorating economic situation, deteriorating ecologic situation 12. The change of the foreign policy climate, accession of M. S.
