Course content

The Paris Peace Conference, the Peace Treaty with Germany, the peace treaties with the other defeated states, the characteristic of the Versailles settlement. The problems of the collective security and the disarmament in twenties of the 20th century; their mutual relationship and the attempts of their resolving the Esher's plan, the Treaty of Mutual Assistance, the Geneva Protocol, the Rhineland Security (Locarno) Pact, the KelloggBriand Pact . The problem of the German reparation and the attempts of its resolving the rigmarole of the negotiation on the conferences, the occupation of the Ruhr region, the Dawes Plan, the Young Plan, the Hoover Moratorium. The origins and the formation of the fascist dictatorship in Italy. Great Britain, France and Germany in twenties of the 20th century. The Great Depression and its consequences for Europe. The coming to power of Nazis in Germany, the takeover of the power by Adolf Hitler. The attempt of the resolving of the collective security problem in Europe in thirties of the 20th century. The rigmarole of the European politics of the years 19331936 the Italian proposal of the Four-Power Pact, the introducing of the general conscription in Germany, the Naval Treaty between Great Britain and Germany, the occupation of the Rhineland, the Axis of Berlin-Rome.
