Dates and theory of post-colonialism, imperialism, neo-imperialism and globalization. - Authoritarian regimes and conflicts directly linked with the transformation of the world in post-colonial and post-bipolar period. - Economic, ethnic, geographic, geopolitical, religious factors contributing to the existence of various conflicts. - Impact of global policies on local companies in Europe, Asia, Africa, America and Oceania.

Students will create a summary of the major events in post-colonial era in world history. They will analyze how the various post-colonial states coped with newly acquired sovereignty. Students will link together authoritarian regimes and conflicts with the transformation of the world in post-colonial and post-bipolar period. They will recognize formulate the influence of global policy on local company in Europe, Asia, Africa, America and Oceania. |
