Course content
1. Czech war - Czech lands after the battle of White Mountain 2. Reforms of Maria Theresa of Austria 3. Czech National Revival 4. Revolution in 1848 5. National movement between absolutism, conservatism and liberalism 6. Rise of the modern Czech politics a culture at the turn of 19th and 20th century 7. The first World War 8. Rise of Czechoslovak Republic - political, economical and cultural development in twenties 9. Economic and international political crisis - Munich - II. republic 10. Home and foreign resintance - restitution of Czechoslovak Republic (till 1948) 11. Coup d'état in 1948 - political, economical and cultural development in fifties and sixties 12. Year 1968 - invasion of the army - normalization 13. Breakdown of the socialistic state - fall of the regime in 1989 - break down of the Czechoslovakia
