Course content
Final state examination is the oral examination in front of the jury and the usual duration is approximately 30-45 minutes. The rules are given by the Department of Mathematics according to the Study and Examination statuses of the University of West Bohemia. Main topics of this examination are announced by the Department of Mathematics annually. By signing up for this examination, the student chooses one of the specializations within the study field Mathematics. This selection usually corresponds to the choice of the topic of the student's Master thesis.

Acquiring knowledge and skills in the range of the subjects KMA/G2, KMA/AXG, KMA/APG2, KMA/GPM, KMA/VKG (and subjects which are necessary for their for their successful completion).
learning outcomes
This subject tests student's competences in geometry and its applications and in other parts of mathematics. The exam verifies the understanding of basic concepts and relations between them. Student demonstrates the ability to find connections between different areas of geometry, and also in terms of historical development and philosophical issues.
