Course content
1. The Integral Calculus Elements, Applications 2. Axiomatic structure of mathematics, its application (e.g. in geometry) 3. Planimetry 4. Trigonometry, goniometry 5. Stereometry 6. Vectors and matrices, relation to systems of linear algebraic equations 7. Analytic geometry in the plane 8. Analytic geometry in space 9. Analytic geometry of quadratic figures 10. Combinatorics 11. Probability 12. Statistics, data processing 13. Financial mathematics, link to financial literacy

Learning activities and teaching methods
  • Contact hours - 52 hours per semester

to apply basic knowledge of linear algebra (matrix calculus, systems of linear algebraic equations) to apply basic knowledge of mathematical analysis (sequences, series, differential and integral calculus) to apply basic knowledge of geometry to apply basic knowledge of probability theory and mathematical statistics

to solve systems of linear algebraic equations (using direct methods) to determine derivatives and integrals of elementary functions solve basic geometry problems solve basic problems in probability theory and mathematical statistics
