Course content
|
When preparing for the defense of the diploma thesis, the student is based on the elaborated assignment of the topic of the diploma thesis and from the expert opinion of the opponent and the evaluation of the diploma thesis by the supervisor. It is also his duty to comment on any comments made by the opponent and the supervisor of the diploma thesis and to provide additional explanations to solve the problem during the discussion. The defense of diploma thesis takes about 30 minutes. The content of the defense is the presentation of the thesis, comment to the reviewer's opinion and evaluation of the thesis supervisor, responses to their questions and the answering additional questions of the committee members. The defense can only take place if the student has met all the requirement set by the Study and Examination Regulations of the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen.

| Student must complete all prerequisites required by the study plan of the Civil Engineering - Modern Buildings study program and all conditions specified by the Study and Examination Regulations of the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen. The defense can only be done if the student has submitted the thesis at the required quality level and within the given deadline. |
