The course is aimed to provide students with an understanding of the fundamentals of surface engineering. It describes the characteristic properties of surfaces, their interactions and deterioration caused by their environment and presents protection methods using organic and inorganic coatings. Attention is also paid to the measurement and evaluation of the surface coatings properties. |
