Course content
|
Logistics and distribution logistics - content, concepts, objectives, requirements for application, subsystems of distribution logistics. Logistic supplying services. Push and pull systems, planned and demand-oriented management of the flows of goods. Logistic solutions - cross docking, hub and spoke, practical examples. Production-retail relations, ECR, VMI, QR, Just in Time etc. Logistic companies, transport and its possibilities in distribution logistics, outsourcing and providing of logistic services, 2PL, 3PL, 4PL companies. Active and passive elements of distribution logistics. Manipulation and shipping units and packaging - use in distribution logistics. Logistic transportation chains, protection of goods in logistic transportation chain. Identification of goods - EAN, RFID. Inventory (stock of goods) management - inventory planning, control stock levels, security stock, ordering systems, inventory optimisation. Methods for inventory (stock of goods) analysis. Operation management system - stock operations, retail operations. HACCP.
