Nature, justification, importance and history of consumer protection. Role of the state in the consumer protection, consumer policy. Approaches to consumer protection in the Czech and European legislation, documents and directives. Supervising institutions in the system of consumer protection. Involvement of consumers, consumer associations and organisations. Unfair commertial practices and information obligation of retailers. Alert systems of consumer protection. Ethics in business in the framework of the consumer protection. Alternative dispute solution. Advertisement regulation.
